The Braun cruZer 6

The Braun cruZer 6 – 3 in 1 beard trimmer

The Braun CruZer 6 (not sure why the need for the capital Z) is one of Brauns budget beard trimmers. It’s often the case you get what you pay for but it feels like the CruZer 6 goes that extra mile. It’s so inexpensive that it actually features on our list of the most inexpensive beard trimmers. So is it just cheap and nasty or is it woorth the small price tag. Lets take a look…

Price £24.99

  • Precise trimming and shaping
  • 2 x click and lock comb heads each with 6 length settings
  • Uber sharp blades for a great trim
  • Ergonomic handle for enhanced grip

Lets begin with the design. One thing you can say about the Braun CruZer 6 is that it’s pretty well designed. It looks sleek and stylish and there’s obviously some thought gone into the ergonomic design. It looks good and feels good in your hand.

As well as it’s great looks and considering it’s a pretty cheap trimmer it’s quite unbelievable how good the blades on the CruZer 6 are. Added to this are the two adjustable combs which make setting length extremely easy. The Braun CruZer 6 also has a smaller trimmer incorporated for thos parts which may require extra accurate trimming such as under your beard or hard to reach places. It’s usually tucked away on the back of the trimmer but pops out easily for convenient use.

It’s obvious that for 25 quid you’re not going to get the best trimmer in the world,  but with the Braun CruZer 6 you are going to get a pretty damn good one. Pound-for-pound this is probably one of the best beard trimmers on the market. So when you see that this trimmer has been given a 5 star rating bear in mind that it’s because it is extremely cheap. What you get is simple but effective and for the money we think that it’s a winner.

Hey great review pages – do you think Braun are making better trimmers than Babyliss at the moment? thanks

Personally, and this is if you want a reasonably priced trimmer as opposed to going for a more expensive but far better one, I don’t find there to be much difference between Braun and BaByliss. You’ll pay similar prices for comparable beard trimmers. However, I’m far more of a fan of the look of Braun trimmers. Love the kinda rubberised look they have going on over the last couple of years. Check them both out and see what other reviews say before making a decision.
